Zion Biking and Family Lovin!

Zion National Park is one of the prettiest places around Southern Utah! People travel from all around the world just to come and see it's beauty. Considering how close we live we can't take it for granted. Surprisingly one of our favorite times to head up there ...is late at night! That's right, nighttime. When you think it's too dark to enjoy it because you can't see anything. You're wrong. Our friend Gump came up with this brilliant Idea. We load up our bikes and head up to Zion, planning to get there just in time to park at the Church at the bottom of town and catch the last bus up to the top around 8-9:30. We load our bikes onto the bus rack or just take them with us inside then after chilling at the top drop off until all the buses have gone down for the night along with random cars...then it's time! We just coast on down through the beautiful mountains and switchbacks usually enjoying the night crisp air. If we are lucky we choose a night when there's a full moon which lights up the whole canyon! We usually try to stop at a little lookout for snacks or we'll go do a night hike after we finish biking at the overlook. I'm telling you...everyone needs to try this! It's one of our favorite things to do!!

This weekend was so nice and relaxing! Saturday we got to sleep in, then we helped Steve & Shannon prune some trees in the backyards which wore us out so we took a little nap on the lawn under the tree with cat. He loves Ethan and always has to sleep right in between us! Saturday was also RSL game day, so of course we had to wear our jersey/shirts for good luck. It totally worked because it was a killer game. We won 3-2!

Sunday we went to Hurricane and ate with the family. Then of course it was croquet time! The girls even played a game...with our own made up rules. I came in second but should have easily taken first if I hadn't choked! haha Got to see all the kids and babies! Even got to cuddle for a good amount of time with both the babies. Gosh I love family time on Sundays. I am so blessed with an amazing family and wonderful husband!! Here's just a bunch of photos from the day!

Uh oh, Sucking her thumb at an early age! But it's just so stinkin cute!

These two are best buds. Glad they have each other to keep themselves entertained!

Sunday walks, concerts, weddings, & babies!

Last week was a busy week. On Sunday we visited with family at mom & dad's, took naps with Carolee, and played croquet. Eth took 1st place this Sunday!! Then we went for our usual Sunday walk with Steve & Shannon. It was such a nice evening for a walk. There's nothing like a good relaxing walk to get you mentally ready for a new week!

Ethan being a goof with his moms walking sticks!

Eth had his last choir concert last week! He has an amazing deep voice and I'm sad that was his last choir...or so he says! I doubt it though, he loves singing in choir.

(Sorry for the blurry quality)

Family Picture at Grandpa O's Wedding! Kyson is part of our family and barely in there..not sure what he was looking at but I he was hidden in every picture i had. :( My family is the bomb.

So we randomly ran into this lady who delivered Shay and I 20+ years ago and now helped with Carolee two weeks ago. Crazy small world!

The nice thing about living close the the city office/church is that they sometimes have fun stuff going on on the big lawn. This time it was a projected movie on a HUGE screen! Frozen, of course!!

Grandpa O made this little table set for each of us grand kids for our future kids! We grew up eating on our own little pink table he made us years ago so it's a fun little tradition I can't wait for my kids to get to be apart of. Although we've still got a while until their will be any little ones using it!

Sweet Carolee!

My second niece baby Carolee is here!
She arrived early Tuesday morning at 3:47 am
8lbs 13oz 21in

Carolee is such an adorable baby girl and so far seems like a good baby. To me I can really see liam and skyler in her but who knows...babies looks change so much and so fast! I have been blessed with the cutest nieces and nephews by far! And amazing bro/sis in-laws! My family is one of the most important things to me and that goes for Ethan's side as well. There's nothing that can make me happier than my eternal family! This Easter season just reminded me how grateful I am to my savior Jesus Christ's and his sacrifice but most importantly his resurrection, so that I too can be resurrected and be with the people I love the most. My favorite people, my family, my eternity. #becauseofhim

This face is adorable.

Eth really doesn't care for his picture taken...but I always tell him he'll thank me when we're old and can't remember anything. At least we'll have these pictures to remember! He loves baby Carolee and did a good job holding her...as long as she didn't cry ;)

I think she likes me.

She is so precious...and she makes me very baby hungry!

The happy family of 5! The boys just loved her, Liam maybe a little too much. ;)
They'll have to keep a close eye on that one.
